Why I like it:
A badass punk band that leave nothing off the table. Deanna seems to wear her heart on her sleeve and it really translates into the music. The lyrics are truly sincere (the pun is intended) and very relatable. Everything from stories of falling asleep with on corndog in your lap, to dropping out of dentistry school, will keep you entertained and concentrating on the lyrics (which I admittedly don't do at first).
It takes a lot of guts to admit to your failures, especially to the mass public, and then laugh at yourself with everyone else. This is what Sincere Engineer masters and it creates an album that makes you feel not alone with your struggles. Deanne gets it and will share her stories to make you feel better :)
With only one full length under their belt, I am very impressed with the musicship and skill of this band. I am very excited to see what their next release entails and what stories we will be entertained with next! Fingers crossed in 2020, I sure need it.
